Germany RTL Television network broadcast of
transgender body builder and fitness spokesperson Chris Tina Bruce.
As a fitness trainer and competitor Bruce was catapulted into the national spot light as the first transgender to compete in a body building competition in San Diego on October 29, 2011 at the Scottish Rite Center. The attention and news coverage landed Bruce in a position to speak out and about the difficulties, misconception and misperceptions that transgender individuals face on a daily and now national level.
Chris Tina has garnered media attention and has been featured in local magazines as well as becoming nationally covered. Interest in her journey has gone international as she will be featured in a documentary about transgendered individuals and their lives. Her main focus is personal fitness and publicly speaking about her journey and what it means to be transgender.
